We have a rule at our house...as the title of this post is called. It is that on your birthday you get to act HOWEVER you want and get to do whatever you want. I made this rule i think when i turned 23. you know how when you are a kid birthdays are the best, and then when you are an adult...if that's what you want to call me...birthdays are no fun? well, that's how it is for me. not because i am getting older. that doesn't really bother me. i am suppose to get older. it's just that birthdays when you are an adult are just no fun. there's no balloons, no party, no invitations, they are just a day that reminds you that being a kid was more fun. make sense. so being that my birthday was no longer fun, i would get ornery and in a bad mood, and i've told tim on many birthdays that i can act however i want CUZ it's my birthday. ok that was a long explanation to our rule and how it came to be and the point of this post. BUT it's eva's birthday today! yay happy birthday baby girl! and she is applying this rule to this day, the day of her birth. She is crying and yelling at everyone she sees! HA she takes after me! but i love her and don't know what i would do with out her! she really is so precious to me! and has added so much that was missing in our little fam! She is certainly one of a kind. She knows one word and it's hi! she says it to everyone that she sees. i don't think she know what she's saying but she says it anyway and knows the attention it gets her! she loves yelling at random people in the store just to get their attention and then smile at them. she walks, she hits, she fake laughs, she eats everything in site. she is amazing and i'm so glad she's mine! happy birthday to the deebsta!

she is so, so , beautiful
I have that exact same philosophy!! I buy myself balloons and decorations if I don't feel like we're celebrating enough, and I sing happy birthday right along with everyone else! Ha! That should be the one day a year you can do whatever you want! Good for you for passing down that tradition!
Sounds like a good rule to me!!! And yes, as you get older, birthdays just suck!!! Maybe thats why we put so much effort in to our kids' parties.... we are living through them!!!! Happy birthday Eva.... you are a beauty!!!
happy birthday sweet little eva!!! love ya alot!!! can't wait to see ya this weekend, all of you I and co.
Such a gorgeous little face. Love her. Nice birthday rule. Adam thinks his birthday celebrations (thus equaling birthday attitude) should last for a week.
Oh my gosh! She has gotten so big. i love that picture. Happy Birthday sweet girl!! That year FLEW! I totally get your birthday rules and think that would solve my bad mood on my birthday...sheesh! I'll have to try it. i can't wait to see her little personality. why haven't we hung out?
